PixQuote:
"When I'm ready to make a photograph, I think I quite obviously see in my minds eye something that is not literally there in the true meaning of the word. I'm interested in something which is built up from within, rather than just extracted from without."
-Ansel Adams
PixNote:
The **Charlevoix region was designated a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1988. Biosphere reserves are created “to promote and demonstrate a balanced relationship between humans and the biosphere.” They must “encompass a mosaic of ecological systems,” and thus consist of combinations of terrestrial, coastal, or marine ecosystems. There are 482 biosphere reserves in 102 countries (as of mid-2005). (Ref:Wikepedia)
